Websites break at inconvenient times, usually with no warning and often after somebody else touched something. This is the service for when you need it looked at now.
I start with a paid investigation — £125 — to find out what’s actually wrong. That fee exists for a good reason: diagnosing somebody else’s fifteen-year-old website can take hours, and free diagnosis tends to produce guesses rather than answers.
Once I know what’s happened, you get either a fixed-price quote to fix it or an hourly rate, whichever suits the job. Either way you decide with the facts in front of you, and the investigation fee comes off the repair.

- The contact form stopped sending emails
- A PHP error is showing on the page
- A database error, or the site loads blank
- A hosting problem nobody can explain
- An update broke something
- The site displays incorrectly since a change
- The developer has disappeared
- An old website that can no longer be updated
- Nobody is sure who controls the domain or hosting
How it works
Investigation first, then your choice. No open-ended hourly work without your say-so, and no bill that arrives as a surprise.
- £125 — I investigate and tell you what’s wrong
- Then a fixed-price quote to put it right
- Or £110/hour if the job is better handled that way
- The £125 is credited against whichever you choose
- If it turns out to be a five-minute fix, I’ll say so
